Kitting & bundles
Selling multiple component SKUs together as a single sellable unit, with inventory tracked at the component level.
Kitting (or bundling) combines several individual products into one offer -- a gift set, a starter pack, a multi-buy. The challenge is inventory math: selling one bundle should draw down each component's stock correctly so you never oversell a part you've run out of.
Skuwell models kits and bundles against their component SKUs, so a bundle sale decrements each part from the same ledger your channels read. Availability stays honest whether a customer buys the component alone or inside a kit.
