Built by operators who lived the spreadsheet pain.
Skuwell started inside a real product business — one with suppliers to chase, a warehouse to run, six sales channels to keep honest, and a stack of tools that refused to agree with each other. The "system" was a team of people copying numbers between tabs and hoping nothing slipped.
We tried the usual fixes: a WMS here, a shipping app there, a PIM spreadsheet with a heroic owner, connectors to glue it together. Every tool was fine alone. Together they were a slow-motion argument about what was true.
So we built the thing we couldn't buy: one system where the product record that powers a Shopify listing is the same record the picker scans and the same record the forecast buys against. No sync jobs. No second source of truth. And when AI got good enough to do real work, we wired it in the only way an operator would trust — with approval queues, budgets, and a permanent log of everything it touches.
Skuwell is what we wished existed when our own floor was on fire. Now it's yours.
What we believe.
- Unified beats integrated. Two tools with a connector is still two versions of the truth. One database isn't a feature — it's the point.
- AI with human control.AI should do the work, and people should hold the steering wheel. Approval queues, budgets, and audit logs aren't friction — they're what makes power usable.
- Depth over checkboxes.A feature that half-works is worse than no feature — it just fails later, on the floor. We'd rather say "coming soon" than ship a checkbox.
- The floor is the customer.Software that only works in the office is decoration. If pickers, packers, and receivers don't love it, it doesn't ship.
- Honesty converts. We'll tell you what we don't do, discuss pricing openly once we understand your operation, and say when we're not the right fit. Operators can smell anything else.
