Lead time
The elapsed time between placing a purchase order and having the stock available to sell.
Lead time is how long it takes from ordering to shelf-ready: supplier processing, production, transit, and your own receiving. It's the single most important input to reorder timing -- the longer and less reliable it is, the more buffer stock you need.
Skuwell tracks lead time per supplier and SKU and feeds it directly into reorder-point and safety-stock math, so replenishment recommendations account for how long stock actually takes to arrive -- not a guess.
